On the afternoon of September 22, 2023, our school organized the 112th Mid-Autumn Festival Telephone Filial Piety Activity. This event aimed to provide sheltered students with an opportunity to express their longing and gratitude towards their families. A total of 265 students from across the school participated in this heartfelt endeavor.

The activity was structured in batches, with students calling their families to convey their thoughts and extending early "Happy Holidays" wishes. On the receiving end, family members provided words of encouragement, emphasizing the importance of adhering to school rules, respecting teachers, and embracing positive change. Emotions ran high, with many students finding their eyes welling up with tears as they expressed their yearning for their families.

Promises were made to their families, pledging to embrace a new way of life after leaving school. The venue was imbued with a warm and genuine atmosphere, showcasing the depth of these sentiments.

The smooth execution of this phone call event was made possible by the unwavering support of the Changhua Operations Office of Chunghwa Telecom. They graciously set up free telephones for the students to use, ensuring the event's success. Through the company's benevolent gesture, students were deeply impacted, leading them to reflect on and appreciate the tireless efforts of their families, without the need for prompting or reminders. This act of kindness should forever remain in the hearts of the students.

As the calls came to an end, students reluctantly hung up, hoping that the next reunion would showcase their transformed selves to their families. With hearts full of gratitude, the event finished in a happy mood.
