This reformatory was established under the jurisdiction of Taiwan Provincial Government Social Affairs Department, and named Taiwan Provincial Juvenile Reformatory of Changhua on September l6,1956. It was renamed Taiwan Provincial Juvenile Correction School of Changhua in l959. On July l, 1981, it was subordinated to the Ministry of Justice Bureau and denominated the name as Taiwan Changhua Reform School. In order to cooperate the establishment of the Agency of Corrections , Ministry of Justice, on January 1st, 2011, the name of our reform school was superseded by  "Changhua Reform School , Agency of Corrections , Ministry of Justice." On August 1st, 2021, it was restructured into a Juvenile Correction School , and the full name was changed to "Li Zhi High School".

The history of the reformatory:
In September 1956, "Taiwan Provincial Juvenile Reformatory of Changhua" was the beginning of the reformatory.
In 1959, It was renamed "Taiwan Provincial Juvenile Correction School of Changhua."
In July 1981, it was subordinated to the Ministry of Justice Bureau, and was given the name  "Taiwan Changhua Reform School."
In January 1st, 2011, the reform school was subordinated to the Agency of Corrections , Ministry of Justice, and the name was entitled  "Changhua Reform School , Agency of Corrections , Ministry of Justice."
In August 1st, 2019, "Chengjheng High School Changhua Branch" was established.
In August 1st, 2021, it was restructured into a Juvenile Correction School , and the full name was changed to "Li Zhi High School"
