The branch school participated in the 2021 Taiwan Lantern Festival and stood out among many outstanding works. It was favored by the judges and won the Light King of the High School Vocational Group. The teachers and students of the school were all excited and shared the honor after hearing the news. Our branch was awarded the King of Lights in 2017 and won the championship again in 4 years.
The award-winning work is based on the theme of "The Year of the Ox" with creative design. The content of the work quotes the poignant love story of the folklore "The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl", encouraging students to persist in their beliefs and study hard despite adversity. , Welcoming happiness.” In addition to its positive enlightenment significance, the work also hopes to awaken the general public to give more care and encouragement to this group of upwind youths.
Most of the students participate in the making of lantern classes because of their strong interest and curiosity. Want to find out how to make lanterns? After formal learning, I realized that it was not as easy as imagined. Every step in the production process from the skeleton to the power connection to the table cloth is a new challenge for them. In addition to continuous training of skills and patience, the process is also I had disagreements with my classmates and gave up the idea. In the process of participating in the production, students are not sloppy in every step from completely unfamiliar to familiar structure forming, power configuration to completion of the fabric.
