In order to make the students grow their wisdom, balance their body and mind, and accumulate fortune, the school and the Yide Temple of Chiayi County jointly organized the summer Buddhist growth camp on August 8 and 9 of 2018. A total of 123 students participated in the event.
The Buddhist camp is based on the theme of "Happy Life". The content of the course is rich and diverse. All the lectures such as learning good words, being gracious, being smart, being docile, and cherishing life are all activities. In addition, Zonglin is invited in the event. The Master conducted a lecture on life education in Buddhism with the theme of "Mindfulness and Weedness", and advised all participating students to "satisfy and be happy". The lecture was conducted by Dr. David R. Hawkins, an American psychiatrist. The principle of learning has found that all levels of human consciousness have corresponding energy indices. People whose vibration frequency is lower than 200 (20,000 Hz) will weaken the body; the frequency of 200-1000 (20,000 Hz-100,000 Hz) will strengthen the body. With "honesty, sympathy, understanding", you can enhance your willpower, change the vibration frequency of your body particles, and improve your physical and mental health. The lecture also encourages students to "be a heart, be a Buddha, and be a Buddha" to achieve their goals in life. In addition to guiding students' values, they also promote filial piety, teach students to express respect for teachers, and expect students to return to the light. .
During the Buddhism camp, the food is served in the morning and afternoon. In addition to slightly increasing the color of the dishes, I hope that the students can be healthy and vegetarian, reduce impulsive emotions, accumulate merits, and pray for the family. Finally, the teachers of the school encourage students. Save good thoughts, accumulate good deeds, be honest, be kind, and draw a happy ending in the child's tender face with a full and happy smile.
