On June 10, 2025, our school invited world bread champion Chef Chen Yao-Hsun to share his inspirational life journey. Once a rebellious teenager involved in street racing and fighting, he turned his life around after a tragic accident claimed a close friend. Discovering his passion in baking, he decided to make his parents proud through his craft. In 2017, he won the World Bread Championship in France with his creation “Auspicious Lion,” blending Taiwanese culture and artistry. Speaking to nearly 400 students and teachers, he emphasized the importance of finding one’s passion, honoring parents, and never giving up. His words, “A person can be imperfect, but as long as you don’t give up, your life will rise like bread,” resonated deeply. The lecture concluded with lively interaction and heartfelt applause, leaving students inspired to reflect on their own paths and pursue their dreams with confidence and purpose.
