To broaden students’ learning interests and discover their singing potential, our school held the “Life Story Karaoke Singing Contest” on November 18. Fifteen groups of 25 students competed, with 281 students attending. Contestants were judged on life-story sharing, pitch and rhythm, emotional expression, diction, and stage presence. Performances were deeply moving: one team expressed resilience and rebirth through a medley, another delivered A-mei’s “Lost” with powerful vocals, and the boys’ group honored maternal love. Their heartfelt stories, skilled singing, and sincere reflections touched the audience. Teachers encouraged students to cherish family, keep learning, and become a light in others’ lives.
