Following the February 3 initiative in which Chunghwa Telecom Changhua Operations Office provided 30 free phone lines for all 329 students to call their families, the school held a two-day Lunar New Year family reunion event on February 5 and 6. The activity allowed students to reunite with loved ones before the holiday, creating many touching moments as families embraced in tears after long separations.

Families from across Taiwan arrived early, some traveling long distances and even overcoming physical challenges just to see their children. Principal Chen Hong-Yi attended to show support, and balloons were distributed to create a warm festive atmosphere. A total of 503 family members participated. Parents expressed appreciation for the school’s dedication to students’ education and character development. The event strengthened family bonds, encouraged positive change, and highlighted the importance of continued care and support.
