To help students understand the core concepts of restorative justice and reflect on the consequences of their actions, our school held the “Restoring Love Creative Illustration and Writing Contest” on February 10, 2026. Based on the principles of restorative justice, the competition encouraged students to express apologies, gratitude, and love to family members or those they have hurt through creative artwork and writing. A total of 34 entries reached the finals, each thoughtfully presenting ideas of repairing relationships and rebuilding understanding. The first prize was awarded to Class Zhi, while Class Xiao won second place. The event enhanced students’ awareness of emotional healing, empathy, and positive values through artistic expression.
