That She, That Me Drama Results Presentation

On the afternoon of October 13, 2020, the branch will hold a presentation of the results of the "Upwind Project Drama Workshop". Drama and art education is an innovative treatment for juvenile correctional education. It is hoped to guide lost children to inspire self-consciousness through learning, find fun in it, and regain self-worth and self-confidence.
After the “Lost Lamb” in 2018 and the “囡” in 2019, this time the work team of the errand troupe, in collaboration with the 18 female students of the branch school, conducted physical training, self-exploration and storytelling after six months of drama workshop Collection, script development, division of labor rehearsal...together to complete this performance. This time, "That She, That Me" started on a journey away from home. They longed to be loved, and left home, or stumbled in love. So, what is their inner belonging? Through the alternation and transformation of roles, this play intends to promote the girl’s life experience to no longer be limited to individuals, but to be a reference for each other, and a common lesson-"That she is also me... that she is also someone else. It's her experience, her story, but someone who is so similar to you." I hope that this arrangement can loosen the audience's established imagination of the correction institution a little bit, see the social structural factors behind the students, and give girls more tolerance. And confidence; I also hope to inspire students and parents in the audience to understand each other from a different perspective. Change requires joint efforts.
This project is under the guidance of the Corrections Department of the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Education, and the National Culture and Arts Foundation, sponsored by the branch school, and co-organized by the Taiwan Good Foundation and the Errand Theatre. With the efforts of all parties, this performance has been completed. It is hoped that the public will know more about the teenagers against the wind, so that they can get more kindness and support on the road in the future. Opportunities to promote parent-child emotional exchanges, to make up for the shortcomings that children and parents have missed each other in the past, to enhance family support, to help students settle, transform, and successfully return to society and families.
