Our school organizes the "Life Story Sharing Writing Competition"
To cultivate students’ interest in writing and enhance focus, observation, and critical thinking, our school held a writing competition following a life education speech on June 24. Each class selected representatives through a preliminary round, with 35 finalists writing reflections inspired by world-class baker Mr. Chen Yao-Hsun’s life story. Judging criteria included relevance, structure, fluency, and accuracy. The competition revealed heartfelt insights and sincere emotions. Through the lecture, students realized that perfection isn't required for success—persistence and passion are. The event inspired growth in wisdom, resilience, and hope for a brighter future.

"The only two Taiwanese who won the title of World Bakery Master—Wang Pengjie came to the school to share his life story"
On June 13, 2025, master baker Wang Peng-Jie, champion of the 2018 Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie in France, shared his life story at our school. Once a troubled youth involved in gangs, Wang changed course after witnessing a close friend's tragic death. His inspiring journey from hardship to international acclaim touched the hearts of many students. He emphasized that true change comes from within and begins the moment one decides to act. The talk sparked strong interaction, with students asking if they could learn baking from him in the future. Wang's story showed that transformation is possible—just like dough, life can rise again.

"Rose Grave Band Enters Correctional School -- Using Music to Tell the Weight of Life"
On June 17, 2025, our school invited the renowned Rose Tomb Band for a powerful life education music seminar. Without flashy lights or a grand stage, their heartfelt songs and real-life stories deeply moved the students. The lead singer, also an ER doctor, shared emotional moments from the emergency room, urging students to respect life. Songs like The Drawer of Memories and Chen Nuo told touching tales that brought tears to many. Former inmate volunteer Ah-Chuan also shared his past, encouraging youth to change paths and value themselves. Sponsored by the Changhua Rotary Club, this event was a heartwarming reminder of gratitude, kindness, and the value of life.
