"Passing on Glory, Dedicated to Education" -- Handover Ceremony between Acting and New Principals of Lizhi Middle School
The school held the Handover and Oath-Taking Ceremony for the Acting and Newly Appointed Principal at 10:00 a.m. on January 30, 2026. The ceremony was presided over by Director-General Lin Hsien-Ming of the Agency of Corrections, Ministry of Justice, who supervised the official seal handover. Principal-designate Chen Hung-Yi formally received the seal from Acting Principal Lin Yueh-Hsien, symbolizing the continuation of leadership and officially assumed office on February 1. Distinguished guests included representatives from the Ministry of Education, Changhua District Prosecutors Office, regional police and correctional agencies, partner schools, medical institutions, and community organizations. The event was well attended and concluded successfully. Director-General Lin expressed appreciation for Acting Principal Lin’s dedication in maintaining school stability and congratulated Principal Chen on his new appointment. He praised Principal Chen’s extensive experience in juvenile correctional education, administrative leadership, and counseling expertise. Director-General Lin emphasized two expectations: fostering a warm and supportive campus culture, and strengthening individualized guidance and transition education to help students reintegrate into families and society. Principal Chen thanked all guests for their support and pledged to work closely with faculty and staff to create a stable, caring, and hopeful learning environment. Faculty and students warmly welcomed Principal Chen and look forward to continued progress under his leadership.

Lizhi Secondary School held a "Themed Classroom Decoration" competition
To welcome the Lunar New Year with a refreshing campus atmosphere, our school organized a "Themed Classroom Decoration" competition. This initiative encouraged students to foster friendship and enhance learning through mutual cooperation and creative expression.Classes chose unique themes, utilizing diverse materials such as paper, recycled bottles, and wood. Some created a "Time Gallery" featuring "memory trees" and retro village aesthetics, leading observers on a journey through the past and future. Others showcased folk culture through temple paintings, offering a sense of spiritual peace. To celebrate the Year of the Horse, one class filled their room with dynamic horse imagery, symbolizing confidence and progress.This activity not only beautified the environment but also promoted environmental awareness by using recycled materials. The judges were deeply impressed by the students' immense talent. Ultimately, Class Qin won first place with their "Time Gallery," while Class Zhi secured second with "Galloping Horses, Blooming Hope." Beyond the aesthetic joy, students experienced the true beauty of life through the process of sharing and dedication.

"The amazing magician Huang Hsin-kai uses his own life to influence lives."
To foster positive student values, our school integrated a life education lecture with a magic show. The goal was to guide students in reflecting on the meaning of life, self-worth, and future direction, thereby enhancing their self-affirmation and emotional management skills, and cultivating a positive attitude towards adversity. On January 20, 2026, the school hosted Mr. Huang Hsin-Kai, an Australian Justice of the Peace and renowned magician, for his lecture, "Creating Miracles and Reversing Life". Over 300 students participated. The event began with an engaging magic performance that used visual effects to capture attention and create a relaxed, interactive atmosphere, eliciting constant gasps and applause. Magician Huang intertwined his personal growth experiences, sharing how he overcame setbacks and self-doubt through persistence and correct beliefs. The lecture transformed the magic concept of "seemingly impossible yet achievable" into a profound reflection on life choices. Students were invited on stage for simple magic experiences, learning the importance of trust, confidence, and perseverance. They were encouraged to re-evaluate their self-worth, respect others, and embrace positive change, assuring them they would encounter "noblemen" in their lives. This event successfully blended entertainment with education, engaging students more effectively than typical lectures. The core message was that life is like magic: impossible changes often begin with the willingness to try. The activity concluded on a positive note, leaving joyful memories.
